20 miles divided by 12 mpg (being an optimist) = 1.67 gallons X $4.25= $7.10. How much is that toll anyway? What is the actual $ value of nerves unfrayed? My $.02 is unless your driving a Prius pay the toll every time. _____ From: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of paulholm@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, August 05, 2008 5:14 PM To: Jim Pristelski; Dave Schwandt; Chrysler 300 List Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] Travel to Maine Jim I feel your pain. I recall that once the present I-Pass contract expires you too will be paying the higher fees. There is a way to get thru the toll road problems if travelling thru northern Ill to get to Wisc and beyond when travelling thru Indiana to get there. Onlt the One Toll at Rockford. We Discovered it 2 years ago, we only travel that route now when heading north. The 20 miles or so extra traveled are more then off set by the saveings in tolls, and the frayed nerves we used to experience on I90/I94 thru Chi Town. -- Paul Holmgren 2 57 300-C's in Indy Hoosier Corps #L6 CPUs run on smoke.
