DRATS, grumble grumble, farts, curses, #$*%^@*^@&^$%@&^% I spent the better part of today moving stuff all over the storage unit . ONLY TODAY did I notice that the 2x4 intake that I have awaiting the moment to regain its proper seating arrangement is the WRONG ONE. I'm too pooped to fetch the number off it tonight. BUT I think I have a 55 2x4 factory intake. Anyone need one that can swap a 57 manifold for it??? I am NOT in a super hurry, :-) I do have the Wiand aluminum intake already Jethot coated, ( and Does it look nice) but the day of actual usage still seems so far down the road. I do know that I now need to locate an intake, now lamenting all those that I walked past at the swaps. Think I'll go sulk in the hottub for a bit. I will make the effort tomorrow to relay the numbers on this manifold. This now clears up the mystry of why this car came with 55 carbs instead of 57's.
