Re : [Chrysler300] Remote mirror cables

Hi Dave

One thing I can add is that our mirrors are both '60 mirrors, not later, as in 1961 they already looked different in shape if I refer to the page 67 of the "Classic Motorbooks Chrysler 300 1955-1961 Photofacts" by john Gunnell.
With long enough cables, the problem could be solved for my F.
But what about the short cables ? If anyone out there has an explanation ?

I once came to see Jurgen Offenheimer's 300F which was at his house in France. I took mesurements on how to place the mirror on the fender but I was not able to see the cables in the engine compartment which made me think there was a more direct way to the dashboard

Thanks
Gilles (FRANCE)

shorter cables maybe were from a shorter wheel base car? Like a 62, 63, or 64?
only speculating here.
On the F the cables go through the f/wall with the filler plug you mentioned w/the 3 small holes in it.
