I have a 300 F. If I let the car sit ,after driving, for a few days I have to crank the engine for about 30 seconds before I even get a hint it might start. Is anyone having a similar problem? Also if an electric pump is put at the rear will it pump thru the mechanical pump when the engine is running? Someone mentioned to use the elec. pump to just prime the carbs. for when it sets the heat of the engine evaporates most of the fuel in the bowls &causes a very small squirt from the accelerator pump until the manual pump fills the bowls.
