Hello to everyone! Hope all are doing well. I have a 1979 Plymouth volare that I am pretty much forced to sell. I am 18yrs. Old and am going to college and I need the money. I had full plans to fix this car up but with school I have no time or money to put into the car. It is in overall good shape with the exception of the frame. It is rotted out. However the rest of the car is really straight with little to no rust on it. Both front fenders are in really nice shape. I was told by a body man that they would only need about 30min prep time to paint, the hood is in nice shape with about 2 or three dime sized dents in it. It is a four door and all glass is in good shape, the doors are also in good shape with the exception of the driver side, which looks as if it had a golf ball size rust hole in it and someone tried to fix it. The trunk lid does have some rust on it, I don't believe to be too serious. The grill is gone. It has a 225 slant six with an auto. 85,000 miles on it. Runs great! I did drive the car about 6/10 of a mile and it seemed to shift perfectly. The interior is in decent shape, it does have a small rip in the seat due to a stupid mistake on my part of putting things in it. All gages, as I remember, do work. The passenger floor does have a hole in it, I do not remember how severe. This car would be an excellent parts car for someone or I am aware of a frame repair place in I believe Ct. that said that he could fix the frame. I was also told by the body man that he had seen fenders in not as good of condition as mine are sell for about $300 a piece. I really do not want to get rid of this car but winter time is coming and getting colder, and also I need to pay for college and the spring semester is quickly approaching (about $500 worth of books!) I would like to get $750 for it but I need the money so it is flexible, but not too flexible( I am not selling it for below $500, I paid more for it). Please let me know if anyone is interested in it or if you know of anyone who might want to buy it. The faster I sell it the quicker I can put the money towards college and the less interest I will accrue. I anyone has any questions please feel free to email me. The car is located near Bethlehem, Pa.
