Hello guys ?n? gals..

Can it be that, if a moving part in the engine reaches the oil in full
level and makes
a fog that ventilates out of the engine and when the level gets lower
this stops and no oil
disappear again before you fill up again???
Just a fast tought?. can be very out of line but who knows?.

          Johan, G Conv. Batmanblack?.

Is the oil going into the new filter after the oil change ?

to run one quart low. Wacky as that sounds, my C-300 goes from full on
the
dip stick to one quart low very quick, then doesn't move at all after
that.
I have no leaks and can't see any blue smoke. I guess my question is,
Was
there any merit to what these old mechanics said or did they simply
plant
seeds in my 18 year old head. Thanks for your interest, John Peabody
