Compressors are always under the hood.  Condensers are generally in front of
the radiator and evaporators and circulating fans can be behind the dash, in
the firewall or in the trunk.

Hi Paul,

I thought about that...I didn't see a compressor under the hood (but if
a trunk mounted unit, I guess I wouldn't, now would I)?  Anyone know if
Vintage makes a trunk unit?

First, I am not nit-picken,

reading the add states  'vintage AC'  that can easily be understood as
'Vintage AC' for there is a FLA based 'Vintage AC' company that supplies
AC units to retrofit into cars that want it (or if the owner feel NEEDS 
it). Thats the way I read it.
