What year did Chrysler start offering a single 4-barrel carb on the 331?
1952?  And what does the description of the short bell housing length tell
about which year it might be?

I'd make sure that the engine for sale is in fact a dual quad engine.
There's a note by the picture that says the pictured engine is not the
actual engine for sale and..the seller mentions a four barrel (singular not
plural) so it may not be the real deal.
