Re: [Chrysler300] "Correct Battery for an H"

I have a 6 volt Optima battery in my 55 Ford which cost $110 but it was well worth it, it's got 925 cranking amps and comes with a 3 year guarantee, if the battery fails within 3 years, you get a new one, not prorated. They also come in 12 volts for the 300's and I believe you can get a black case to make it look like a Mopar battery. They are great batteries, they don't run down very much at all, even after 5 weeks of cold weather last winter, I put the charger on it and it was still fully charged. If the battery ever goes in my 300L, I'll get an Optima.

I heard just recently that there are now dry-cell repro batteries
available for vintage cars. Anyone know anything about them??? No more
  leaks or acid problems..!!!!

  Hi Group,

I need a new battery for my H and instead of paying $100 for one from a
local Mopar dealer, I thought that I should by one that is as "correct"
as possible. I remember discussions on this subject in the past and will
  greatly appreciate any advice.
