Re: [Chrysler300] new member

My first experience was with a friends 55 300 while we were in high school.
Often wondered what happened to it--last I saw it was after it had gone off
road at somewhere over 100 mph on bald tires in a rainstorm and ran through
a barbed wire fence leaving scratches down the length of it.

When we went to buy the NOS 61 G in Holdrege many years ago we came back
with a Silver Edition Sport 300 instead. Deceased dealers son wanted better
than twice the top book price for the G but the silver edition was near free
in comparison so took it home instead and have enjoyed it ever since. Well
equipped with tilt wheel and AC and have driven it all over on the WW tires
which came with it. Probably 2 1/2 ww which is way to wide but looks nice
to us at least. Did have K silver edition for a few years but let it go to
man from Florida who was going to put cross rams into it. It had the all
leather interior but must admit I still like the vinyl interior better in
the sport 300.

Don't see too many of the silver editions but don't see many of the 64's
either!
