Hi Rob and All:
Glad to hear George is in good hands.  This is what a Club is  about.  I know 
Carol and I had our Club Roster safely nestled 'tween seat  and console on 
our recent trip to the meet in Ohio.  Fortunately we didn't  need to use it, but 
it is nice to know there are Club members such as yourself  so willing and 
able to assist a member in need.   Thanks!

I spoke to George McKovich this  afternoon.  I have a spare newly rebuilt 
power steering pump for him,  have him booked at the Best Western here in Lawton 
(where we had the Lawton  Meet) and have him scheduled to have Ray Brown of 
Allied Transmissions replace  the pump tomorrow morning.  George is changing his 
itinerary and is  enroute to Lawton as I write this.  He called me a few 
hours later and  said that his power steering pump is now not the problem it is 
working  fine!  The PROBLEM is the Harmonic Balancer is separating from the 
shaft  and clicking against the timing chain cover.  He as of 30 minutes ago is  
in Memphis, Texas enroute to Lawton.  He JB Welded the shaft of the  balancer 
and can go about 60 miles an hour.  Ray can get a balancer and  install it 
tomorrow.  So George has a few angels looking out for him,  Caroline and Gaugin.  
We will get him well nested in Lawton and ready to  journey to Tulsa and back 
to Idaho!   ROB  KERN
