Hi Lindsey, My experience with cams for the 413 engine is to use the Mopar factory cam, 284 X 284 degree police cam, a little rumble at idle but floor it and it goes like a scared jackrabbit. Was riding with Mike Yerger (now deceased) and Tom Trexler in a 1962 Chrysler Sport in 1973 and we were following a race between a 327 Corvette and a 351 Mustang. After the Corvette won the race, Mike's 413 with the aforementioned cam, 1- 4 bbl. carb, blew the doors off the Mustang and the 'Vette. Lotsa fun! Oh, to be young again!
