[Chrysler300] remote mirrors

Hello Ladies and Gents.
Dave's question for today is: my 64 sport has the remote mirror fixed to the scalloped section of the left fender with a spacer to keep the assembly level.
My 64 K has the mirror mounted on the upper flat section of left fender, adjacent to the hood, with no spacer. Toggle vision is satisfactory for both locations.
Why are there two separate locations? This K stick also came with Pentastars on both lower fenders.
Does any one have a spare electric motor source for the sport rear antenae.

tnanks to all, very cold in Va........Dave D.
