[Chrysler300] 62 300 door handle

The other day I was getting out of our '62 300 Sport.  When I pulled back the interior door release handle, I heard a snap and now must push the handle forward once pulled back. 

How do I check (or replace) the spring that must have popped or snapped?  Is there a replacement?
