[Chrysler300] Rare '57 C two-tone (1 of 3) on Ebay!

Why is a two-tone 300C rare we should ask and why were only 3 built?

It is because Virgil Exner was quite vehement that our letter cars should ONLY be available in monotone paint jobs. A two-tone scheme in his mind was not complimentary to his design nor the character of the cars.

So when someone special ordered the C presently on eBay or the other two cars, they were going against Virgil Exner's judgment. I don't think that factor ADDs any value to the car.

My definition of RARE in cars always includes the fact that no one wanted them that way or the factory would have been more than happy to build them.
