Hi all: I just talked over the phone with the owner of the 300D. Unknownst to me, his museum is about 13 miles from my home. i knew he had many many cars but did not know he had a "museum." We have shared many conversations over the years at car shows. He has some neat cars. I saw this particular 300D at a car show on Father's Day in 2004. At that time, it did not impress me as concours quality but it was a very nice car. Looks like he did some work on it since then. I do not remember seeing the 300D convertible which won 2nd place at the Palos Verdes Concours show. The VIN no. is LC4 1353 and is an original black plate California car. Also, it does not have power windows. I mentioned it to him and while we were talking, he walked over and checked it out. He agreed that it was not power and he was confused with the convertible 300D. Dan Reitz Northridge, CA [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
