You did not mention if you checked wiring from coil to distributor(including 
inside of distributor to ensure that it is not broken or shorting).  Advance 
movement could cause this problem.  If not this, it still sounds like 
partially plugged fuel line or filter.  Bad diaphragm on fuel pump?  Fuel 
pump sucking air from somewhere in fuel system?  Blockage in fuel tank exit 
for fuel?
