Brandt, The oil pressure gauge is the "key" to the whole system, and has a built-in voltage regulator that affects both the temp and fuel gauges. However , it does NOT affect the AMP gauge. Seems to me that the oil psi. gauge is causing the problem. Swap in another one (it's easy) .
