Wow, where should I start. I think first of all anyone wishing to build a custom or modified car will not be starting out with an overpriced trailer queen. Everyone I know who builds and or restores cars, me included would prefer to start with a roach, something most folks would shy away from or call a parts car. So you could look at this customizer as saving a car that would otherwise continue to rot. Whatever happened to building a car for yourself, the way you would like it? Who gives a rats ass what anyone else thinks, do what you want with your own rig. I just blew 25 grand on a 66 300 with a huge hotrod engine and a 4 speed because I think its badass. Can I sell it for that? Probably not. Do I care? Nope. I just like to build cars, some stockish, some not. If you are a car guy for the money or because your car is worth a bunch of dough then you are really not a car guy. Tens of thousands of mainstream people? Of 300 people? Do you really think there are that many? I will start a new thread later about that. Enough for now. All this effort and money loss to impress a few thousand street rodders and tick-off tens of thousands of mainstream people?
