Re: [Chrysler300] Lefty's "BRIGHT" idea

Reminds me of how poor the headlights are on my 56 B. Anyone had any
success with any upgrades that they would care to share?

Anyone have any info on a 3.08 ring and pinion for same car? Would probably
only be found in a 56 Imperial with Torqueflight that was sold in the
flatlands of the USA. Just doing my semi annual check on this!

Bought and installed a Hella European Technology High Performance headlamp
in
the high beam socket of the 66 300M last night. That headlight would
illuminate Idaho from any part of Montana. Part number 71156 looks very
much like
your standard G.E. bulb but has a beam you could walk on and requires 55
watts
each. Year One has them on backorder so they shipped but one now, one
later.
I'm thinking one might be enough if installed on the right side. They are
not
certified as meeting any Federal standards and Hella is real emphatic that
you should not put them in your street car but for late night drives in
rural
areas, you've not seen the match for bright. Drop-in match for your
standard
high beam bulb.
