I,ve had the original exhaust manifolds on my 66 GTO hot coated in the original cast iron color. The job was excellent & it has held up well. I've had headers hot coated the aluminum color on several cars. The exhaust heat dulls the color somewhat, but the pipes have held up well. The result is much better than any header paint you can buy. The cost is much higher, but in my opinion worth it.
