Re: [Chrysler300] 413 Needs

Do you mean the hole in the water pump housing is too large for the guage sender ?
Go down to your local hardware store get what is known as a pipe bushing, which will have threads on the o/d to match the engine and threads on the i/d to match the sending unit.
You can also get a plug for the oil galley there, ask for an inverted pipe plug, it will have either a square or hex shaped indentation on the outside for the tool to turn it.

Putting together a 413 for our '62 300 Sport.

I have no faith in the local Napa store and most every other "real"
parts store has gone out of business.

The Napa store ordered me a new temperature sending unit for a '64 300
with a gauge, though its too small.

Does anyone know a part number for the correct sending unit?

Also.

Where the oil sending unit goes, there is also a plug that blocks an oil
passage.

Does anyone know the specs for the oil passage as I need to buy a new
plug?

Thanks!
