I worked for a new Chevy dealership. I was there first mechanic to be
hired. One of our first problems when they started bring in the new
cars. They would set in the shop for days at a time while they were
getting them ready to put them I the front lot. Well after they set
there for a couple of days the batteries went dead. We had to jump them
and bring them back to the shop. I spent hours trying to figure out why
the batteries went bad. as long as they were in this shop they were
fine. As soon as we put them back on the lot the batteries' would go
dead again. After sever days of this we figured out it was the trunk
light switch. The shop floor was level, but the car lot had a steep
angle with the front of the car up. So we just removed the bulbs until
the cars were sold. Now I know where I got some of my gray Hair.-
