About a year ago I was talking to my father on the phone and telling him that I was going to remove, sandblast and paint my exhaust manifolds. He said that I would not find any gaskets when I took it apart. He was right. And why wouldn't he be right? He was a mechanic at a Chrysler/Plymouth dealership for many years. He is 75 years old but still going strong. He found a 300 sport out in AZ where he lives and completely stripped the car for me and saved anything that was usable. And he also rebuilt the transmission before sending it back to me in PA. It's good to know that I have a fresh tranny if mine ever goes bad. I sure wish he never moved to AZ.
