I own a 300L. It came with a air cleaner which had a single snorkle and
looked like the one on my 68 New Yorker. In my research I have seen large
ones and small ones, chrome ones and black ones, dual snorkle and no
snorkle on the cars. Which one is right????? Thanks Mike

Hi all!
Anyone out there know of any reliable companys who can recast the clear
plastic on my 300F steering wheel?
Prices? Cannot afford to spend too much $ on it. Or if someone has got a
good used one with minor cracks for sale? My car is a driver so need not
to be mint.

Hi Jan,
The only game in town as far as I know, is Mr. Dennis Crooks in
California.
He does a COMPLETE restoration of the whole wheel - strip all the old
stuff
off the metal frame, have the metal rechromed, and then recast both the
clear and the tan part.

I think good used correct 300F steering wheels are going to be quite hard

find..

Hi Gang, Hope to make it by the meet next week if I'm through the area.
How about someone at the meet getting some good shots of trunks/spare
tires/Jacks and related parts & equipment for a newsletter article. I
think it would be good info to have available to the membership in photo
form showing all the proper spare equipment i.e. jack, handle, tire hold
down, cover etc. for each model and maybe include in the newsletters in
the future that feature the respective car in question.
Just another high mileage thought that came to me one night in the middle
of nowhere.

That was an excellent suggestion. At every meet, we keep taking pictures
because we can't remember exactly how something should look. An that, in
spite of the fact that the 300C has THE restoration book by Wayne Graefen.
