Hello Everyone,

For those of you that don't get Hemmings Motor News, there is a
copper-brown 300C convert. for sale in town here. Advertised price is
$43,500 and car is listed as a 2 1/2 condition. Owner is Dean Slater and
he can be reached at (414) 906-9092. He does some traveling for his job
so, keep trying. Has owned car for about 20 yrs. VIN is 3N 573097 and has
a history in the Club. I went and looked at the car and drove it just to
see if the Club had a record of the car.

I did not know the gentleman before I looked at the car and have no
financial interest in this. Just passing along the information. I'm not an
expert on these cars but if someone wants to know what I saw, they can
contact me privately. I will be gone most of the weekend but can get back
to you Sunday evening.

Brian Frank,

Hi to all,
Got hit hard at an AACA show for incorrect belts which happened to
be Gates ribbed. Does
anyone have a source for non-ribbed belts without resorting to NOS 40
year old belts. The Gates
numbers are: generator (single) 7445, power steering (double) 7435. I
realize the Gates logo can
be removed but we didn't have ribs in '57.
