hi Al , those switches are rugged good things … I took one needlessly all apart once (!not easy) as seat did not work . Not easy to understand it, trust me , parts fly out !! All it needs is vigorous working maybe 20-30 times it is fixed . A film forms on contact surfaces from sitting . Inside are rugged sliding contacts all spring loaded . It comes back perfect once that is worn off It has to start motor , control direction and power the correct combination of clutches in the drive screws Nothing goes wring with it What does go wring is that damn white lube ( Lubriplate ) inside screw clutches . Take that apart and clean out I loved that stuff when young , but now know it is junk , mopar used it everywhere in 60’s , wrecks locks , wiper motor park , window lift gears and seat clutches on 300’s It turns to a solid yellow mass almost like hard RTV . Lube these things with GL-4 75 w synthetic gear oil after cleaning. Forever stuff More common GL 5 has additives harmful to brass hope this helps , switch is ok On Mar 18, 2025, at 1:40 PM, Bob Merritt <Bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: -- For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group.
