Re: {Chrysler 300} Transmission Pan Gasket for 300F

I never use any sealer on the pan gasket. It's more important that the pan surface is flat. The gaskets I use are a black material that is stronger than cork. I also rough up the pan surface with a 2 inch roloc on my grinder. It give some bite on the gasket. I torque to 8 and then 13 lb ft. No leaks.

Good Afternoon Everyone:

I need to replace the transmission pan gasket on my 60 300F.  I have the gasket from A1 Auto.

Do I just use the dry gasket, or should I put any sort of gasket sealer on it?

Thanks.
