RE: {Chrysler 300} HELP, I need Somebody...HELP

Weird that you mentioned eye test.  After we bought a new car 25 years ago, I had the same situation occur two or three times where someone pulled out from a side street and nearly collected me.  Once at 110 km/hr!  Only my ABS saved me from a crash on each occasion.  I thought my car was jinxed before it dawned on me that it was because my car was dark blue where I had driven white or red cars before.  People not properly looking at intersections just didn’t catch it coming out of the corner of their eye.  That’s my only explanation.  Back to a bright red car now (with daytime running lights).

I hope the other driver’s insurance pays for a top-notch repair.

I need to add 2 things:

1) my comment at the end of my reply below was aimed at 61 Newports and all 62s I have 1 or 2 of them.

2) Charlie: would you like me to visit this lady for an onsite eye test? (Just kidding of course)

Oh MY Gosh. (Censored) Charlie I am SO sorry about this! I know how hard you have worked on this car!

Murray is your best bet- I do know where there is an entire 61 New Yorker Cpe in Hatboro parked outside…as a last resort.

Quick note you’re correct on the door interchange. But as we know it’s the door only. The fenders are deceivingly shorter.

Wow sorry to hear this Charlie- glad you weren’t hurt!

We don’t have these parts, but, just wanted to mention that not only the door from other two-door 61 models will work but also the fender from 61 or 62 if it’s a lwb car like a NYer.

HELP, I need Somebody.....HELP, Not just anybody.

HELP, You know I need someone .... HELP

I need Help finding a Drivers side door and fender, in excellent condition, for a 1961 Chrysler 2 Door Hardtop.

Preferably for a 300G but for the Door, if I am correct, the door from a 2 Door HARDTOP Newport, Windsor or New Yorker should fit. You just have to fill in some trim holes.

If you have spares that you are willing to let go or know of someone that has them, please let me know their contact information.

I did email Murray Park this morning and so far have not received a reply. It's the weekend , so I will call Murray on Monday.

Yesterday at 4:50 PM a woman went through a stop sign and hit me in the drivers side door and the fender. She did say that she was sorry. No one got hurt. Naturally I was LIVID but I handled the situation pretty good. Looks like minor damage to the rear quarter behind the door. The rocker seems to be okay.

I did call my Hagerty insurance agent and left a message.

I am trying to get a head start on finding the parts.

Thanks for your time and with any Help that you may give for  helping me get these parts.
