{Chrysler 300} Quarter Window Roller 300K

My machinist took an hour after lunch and made me a new roller for the one I messed up. We made it with a little larger hole size and a little thinner so that it cannot bind like the old one. We used Delrin so it is strong and will not shrink over time.

In the AM I will take exacting measurements of it in the event that anyone ever needs to make one. He could do a set up on his CNC and make a bunch of them but only if a lot of people decided they need them.

One hour, $100 and now I can put the window back in the car in the morning.  The big lesson is that the rivet shaft that holds the roller on can be tapped out with a small punch and a couple of hammer blows. One can then open up the roller hole a little and take some material off the back side so it will spin nice.

PS. Just remember to put the little wheels and the spring in before the big wheel. Cannot do it the other way.
