I have seen that reference but knew that Chryslers seldom had “Groups” punched onto the Body Data Plate and was wondering if C2 might stand for some rare and special item. It will do until something better comes along. I’m attaching a copy of a decode report prepared using real 300L LETTER CAR data of a very similar car with the 2 added under the C for example. On Letter cars, the “Safety Group” may be standard and not displayed on the Body Data Plate. The decoder is a work in process and will be placed in the public domain for free when completed and proofed. I would be glad to run your L thru the decoder if you would send me pix of Body Data Plate & VIN. The decoder will run fine without the VIN if you are reluctant to post it.
