RE: [Chrysler300] worthwhile eBay searches

Thanks for the feedback everyone on eBay searches.  Many different approaches suggested here, all of them with merit, but none of them really effective at keeping out all the aftermarket filler.  Even the Forward Look searches are no better, what they do is   Chrysler (1961 61 '61)   for instance, nothing really different.    EBay has gotten so big, with so many listings, I guess it's to be expected.  Maybe it's a good thing, makes you work a bit harder to find that elusive part, and along that line of thinking is still very effective to pinpoint an item if you are looking for something specific and search for it as such.

Bob,

I limit my searches by adding a "-" and then listing the items I do not want to see. For example, my search for 56, 57, 58, 59, 60 and 61 Chryslers will come up, however, it will not show any items with "buck", "topaz", "kit" and "intake". You could limit it much more by using the "-" and adding wheels, headers, pictures, etc.

Here is my listing limitations:

Chrysler (1956, 56, '56, 1957,57,'57, 58, 1958, 59, 1959, 60, 1960, 61, 1961) -buck -topaz -kit -intake

the forwardlook site has some pre-formatted searches built with direct
links from there. Might be worth exploring how they segmentize those
searches.
