  Ron,

  It has been a long time since my last '64 joint job. But, what you have is different series yokes. This is OK as long as you have the correct u-joint to install. Ford is famous for this trick, GM does ita also.

  A joint with unequal dimensions is called an adaptor joint in Spicer speak. 

  Anyway, just make sure you get the right guy behind the counter fetching parts for you.
