RE: [Chrysler300] Manifold Heat Control Valve Solvent

Hey Gang, 
I still have that red, white and blue can in my garage. I purchased it in
the mid-70's and used it once in a while on my '68 300  440-4v.  I still
have the car as purchased new by my dad in '68 and the heat riser still
works fine...as does the car!  There are 2 part numbers on my can:  Part No.
4-190 and the other is Part No. 3419129.  The imprint on the lower part of
the can reads 1972.  The name of the product reads  "MOPAR"   "Heat Control
Valve Solvent Penetrating Fluid" and the can is reminiscent of a small can
of aerosol shaving cream.  Instructions are to apply to COOL manifold.  I
haven't used the stuff in years; the car has always been garaged and started
at least monthly. I still drive it. The heat riser is loose, sounds
"typically Chrysler," and once the engine cools, you can hear it return
closed.

Contents on this can read:  Aromatic petroleum distillates, Butyl
cellosolve, and colloidal graphite.  Weight is 10.8 oz.

I used to have a spray can of Mopar heat riser lubricant.  It came in a blue
and white can, but alas, after almost 20 years I used it all up.
