Has anybody checked the Torque converter Housing Bore runout when doing a rebuild
It is described in the manual on page 84 of the transmission section
There is a tool they use which is not available anymore
If anyone has experience with this I would really appreciate their input on how they did it & any other methods
I tried using a dial indicator & a magnetic mount on the crank hub
I put the magnetic mount on a spot on the crank hub (not the center) & spun the crank & watched the dial indicator to see the differences at various points around the bore
I did this several times attaching the magnetic mount at different spot on the hub
I could not get consistent readings when I moved to different positions on the crank
Any suggestions would be great
Thanks
