[Chrysler300] 300 H bottom finish

Hello,

Could someone describe how the bottom finish of the H's came from the factory.

I'm hard at work sand-blasting and repairing and what I see looks like blue paint with spray-on black undercoating on a lot of the bottom.  I think much of the undercoating may have worn off from road gravel or sand because the areas where it remains are more protected, such as above the rear axle and in the driveshaft tunnel.

I imagine that blue paint was the rust proofing paint the body was dipped in.  How far up did the dip cover the firewall?  The most surface rust I've encountered was the underside of the roof and the underside of the rear shelf.  Those areas looked like bare metal.
