    Jeff Carter in your home state!  425-672-8324.  He will have cable and give you cleaning tips and how to lube the new cable with transmission fluid to keep those pearly gunk pellets from twisting their way up to the speedometer head! Sounds like a parasite!  300'ly, ROB KERN

    so, i gets under the car and i finds the bottom of the cable / i unhook 
  it and bingo, there is the broken piece.

  so, who sells the replacement cables?

  and should one clean the muck out of cable housing, if so, how?
