SV: [Chrysler300] Need ball and trunion housing

Hello over there? 
 
In Sweden long time ago before the Internet
and the sea of parts we have now, we had to go
another way with this special part when it gave up.
 
We put some extra washers on the bolts BETWEEN the 
trunnion and the handbrake drum just to move the workingarea
for the joint? That worked for many beers and miles?
 
Today it may be a ?takemehomemagictrick? but it worked in the old days?

Hey gang,
The driveshaft shop tells me the housing on my ball and trunion is no
good, and they can't find anything for it. Just got off the phone with
Bernbaum's, he doesn't have them. Anybody have any leads? Have to get
the G back together so I can bring it to... where was that again?!
