well i fiddled with the stainless roof trim that was quite buggered.

i carefully tap tap tapped on the little dents...and i think i improved 
them a bit.

then i polished them with compound and a buffer...and now i have shiney 
little buggered stainless.

so, the next step is to find one of the pro people and get it done 
right...or just leave them off as one club member suggested.
