[Chrysler300] 1962 master cylinder

Hi group,

According to my parts interchange book, 1963 thru 1965 master cylinders do not interchange with 1962 cylinders. The 1962 unit has a 1-1/8" bore, and the 1963/64 unit has a 1" bore. Is there any reason that the 63/64 units will not work on my H?
