I would like to thank all the members who took the time to answer my
questions?it looks like after all I will try to keep the original
weatherstrip and be very careful with the windshield removal?as soon as I
start this daunting task I will post any progress on my blog?

Hello group,

I am in the (long) process of restoring a 1962 H.(
http://johnneed. <http://johnneed.romandie.com> romandie.com
<http://johnneed. <http://johnneed.romandie.com/> romandie.com/> ) car is
almost completely stripped. A good friend of mine is lending me his
rotisserie and I have the following questions:

1. I need to remove both windshields. Has anyone used, with success, Gary
Goers' weatherstrips? I'd rather put new weatherstrips if possible so I can
cut the original ones to ease the removal of front and back windshield.

2. As you know the car is a unibody construction (no chassis). Is it strong
enough to go on the rotisserie with doors removed? Should I weld a bracket
in the door opening to strengthen it?
