Hi Paul, Those rain gutter moldings are actually the hardest piece of trim to remove from a 300F/300G/300H hardtop without damaging them, Paul, but it can be done. The trick is to start from the front (at windshield) , and pull the bottom edge outwards. I have used wooden paint sticks and plastic spackle knives to pry that bottom edge off. No matter how careful you are, if you try to use a metal tool such as a screwdriver, it will definitely make marks along the bottom edge. Just take your time, find the right thickness/ridgidity tool to use, and you should be able to get them off without damaging them. Work slowly and carefully and take your time. Carefully note exactly where they end, at the rear quarter, because that is where you will have to start the reinstallation, when the time comes, and you sure don't want to have to put them on to take them off again because they don't reach far enough forward, or too far... John Hertog Sag Harbor NY -----Original Message----- From: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Paul Weihl Has anyone ever removed the rain drip gutter above the door from a 300G? I would think the process would be the same for all our 300s. I would like to remove both sides before going to paint and also to remove some dings. I would appreciate knowing the procedure for removal. Thanks.
