[Chrysler300] Car History.. My 300 E

Hello Everybody, after reading Tom Koskys mssg I became curious about 
the history of my car and if anyone had advice on how one goes about 
this research or if it is even possible to do.  I did have the data 
plate decoded by Karl saying the car was special ordered and delivred 
to Leon Carpenter Inc, Fayetteville N.Y., car had Calif black plates 
on it last year registred was 1983.  It also looks like it was in 
California for some time based on the amount of registration stickers 
on the plates.  I know it was purchased in Palm Valley, CA in the mid 
80's by Don Petty.  I purchased it from him 15 years later, I have 
tried to find some information but been very unsuccessful.  Any 
information or advice is appreciated.
