  I also received his message.   It smells.  
   
  He is in Hawaii so that you no arrangements can be made to see the car before "buying" it.   However, the shippers will be able to get it in his absence....   If you decide that you don't like it, he will bear the cost of return shipping.... all for a $2900 down payment...     No way!!
   
  I hope that no one falls for it, but someone probably will....
