I just called my local Chrysler dealer, and the part number doesn't show up. The parts guys said he hasn't seen a product like that on his shelves in many years.

My dad used to have a can of it in the garage for our 63 Plymouth Fury Commando 361.
It was in a blue and white can (round aerosol).
Nasty grey foaming junk came out of it, but we never had a stuck manifold heat control valve on either our 63 or 70 Plymouths.
Alas, the can went empty about 10 years ago.

Gil,
Per the 1963 Service Manual, the Chrysler PN is 1879318 called Manifold Heat
Control Valve Solvent.
Maybe it's no longer available as a Chrysler part or maybe there is a
replacement product?

Ron and All:
I just tryed to buy some from our local Chrysler dealer. They showed
nothing like that. I was just about to ask the listserver where such a
product
would be found. Our local parts store showed Never Seize in a spray can,
but I
defered until I consulted the experts here on line. One of my F risers is
starting to get a little grumpy and I definately do not want it to freeze
up.
I too remember the little squirt can of Mopar Heat Riser Solvent, but I
don't
seem to have any anymore. Thanks for your help.

Ron,
Chrysler Corp used to have a manifold heat riser solvent that came in a
little rectangular metal can like 3 in 1 oil. It is a specific formula for
heat
risers. I assume that they still have it. It is great stuff.
I used some several years ago to free up a frozen heat riser on my 300G. I
put some on the heat riser, let it set for a week and it was starting to
show
some signs of movement. So, I put some more on and let it set for another
week. It freed up and I was able to get total movement back.
