Further research reminded me that Chrysler was Bob Hope's sponsor for many years, including his golf tournaments--so no big surprise to see MoPars featured in his movie. I'd bet that Bob Hope owned some fancy MoPar iron, perhaps even a 300 or two. On Monday Bachelor in Paradise was on cable in the hotel lobby (couldn't get the channel in the room so watched it all in the lobby-delayed some sight seeing). It is a cinnamon G convert. Also, early in the movie there is a shot of traffic on the freeway. If you look close, there is a glimpse of a 300 F in the movie. Others chimed in with spottings as you have listed. The car was driven by a very sexy Janis Paige and showed up in several scenes with top down (the car, not Janis). I think all the cars in the movie were MoPars--a marketing tool often used by the majors in the movies and TV--notably, The Dukes of Hazzard. [small T-Birds] maintains a list of movies where small T-Birds have appeared, from 1955 to the present, and the list seems endless. Also, Birds that were owned by famous people; Frank Sinatra, Jane Wyman, Conway Twitty, Don Sutton, etc. Is there any such history on Letter Chryslers? I met Robert Horton at the 1975 meet in Anaheim, and he still had the copper C convertible that he purchased new. Where are he, and/or the car today? We all probably remember the black C convertible in the TV series "Crime Story". Who owns it? What about the white C convertible in the movie "Quiz Show"? That was a real beauty. I have been told that my car was used in the movie "Imitation Of Life", but have never been able to verify that. I purchased it from the 2nd owner in Culver City, just a few blocks from the old MGM studio lot. He told me that the original owner purchased it in Beverly Hills, and was prominent in the movie industry, [Producer, Director ???] and owned it from 1957-1962. I remember seeing a C convertible in an old black and white Perry Mason re-run a few years ago, and wondered if perhaps it was mine. Anyone have anything to add?
