RE: [Chrysler300] 1962 A/C-Heater Switch Woes

Hi Matt,
I just changed one in my 69 Dodge W100. The vacuum lines attach on the left
side. At the center of the switch mine had a red wire on top and a yellow
wire on the bottom terminal. At the far right mine had a three prong
connecter with only two wires going to furthest left and center terminal. I
think the colors were one blue and one black, but I don't remember which one
went to what connecter. I'm not sure that a 62 would use the same colors
anyway. I'm pretty sure the center two wires control the blower and the
other two activate the A/C clutch. Hope this helps.

Subject: [Chrysler300] 1962 A/C-Heater Switch Woes

Hello All,

I am working on my 1962 300 Sport with A/C.
I am attempting to replace the plastic button switch.
Can someone please tell me the following:
When pulling the assembly away from the dash are the vacuum lines nearer to
the drivers side or the passenger side? There are 5 electrical connections.
Can someone tell me which color wire(s) plugs onto which connection? Thanks!!
Matt Allyn
