Hello guys 'n' gals..... Here's the answer from the owner of the 300D on my question about if his car is a clone or not: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Johan, No.1 It would cost about $100,000.00 to clone a 300D hardtop. I would like to know how you would do it for less money. I have been restoring and showing cars for 40 years now so have a good idea of costs. No.2. The California title would reflect the word SALVAGE if the car was junked and rebuilt. So those some say people are completely wrong. This is specially in the case of a California black plate car because the car would have had to be in our State since the early 60s. No.3 If I believed all the folks who perported to know such things, I would not own 50 cars, would own none. nO.4 This car has been looked over by Chrysler collectors who admit she's a REAL beauty. I hope this answers your questions sufficiently. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Best regards from Sweden..... Johan ------------------------ Yahoo!
