This car is a 1956 Ghia Sport Coupe built for the Shah of Persia (Iran). 
The Ghia book by David Burgess-Wise has a photo of it when new on page 66. 
According to the book, it's built on a Chrysler chassis and powered by a 375 
hp drivetrain.
