Re: [Chrysler300] Spring Meet



Just a short followup on my brake story.  My neighbor, a knowledgeable brake
lining man, quickly termed it "rust pressure" that caused the bonded linings
to separate from the shoe.  Indeed there was a film of rust over the entire
shoe area on the shoes that separated (4 of the 8) and they all came apart
on the same stop.  This car had set in a dry garage for about 15 years.

Just thought I should share this info for those of us that drive old cars
and might think a brake system on a stored car was OK from an inspection and
test drive.
